An oil platform is a large structure used to house machinery & men who drill or produce oil & natural gas from the ocean bed. These platforms may be attached to the ocean floor that consists of an artificial island or may be floating, depending upon the circumstances. Stabilised oil is stored in tanks in the base of the facility. Vehicle Pollution Damages Brain: Study Reveals

An experiment made on mice has revealed that vehicular emissions and noise can severely affect the brain in the form of Alzheimer and memory loss. The toxin that causes is not any exhaust gas rather a mix of particles from burning of fuel and weathering (aging) of car parts. The scientists reproduced such toxin in laboratory and tested it on mice who showed the damages to the functioning mentioned below: Neurons involved in learning and memory The brain showed signs of inflammation associated with premature aging and Alzheimer’s disease, Growth of neurons Furthermore it was found that these particles were too small to be captured by car’s emission control systems and they were directly released into the atmosphere.
