Wingless Aircraft Made in Austria

Austrian Innovative Aeronautical Technology, a firm based in Austria has successfully designed an aircraft that can fly without any wings.
The aircraft is named D-Dalus and can both hover and fly in the air at the speed of jet. Moreover, it produces very little noise.
The aircraft flies by changing the angle of attack by means of blades which surround rotating discs on the aircraft. Angle of attach is the thing which causes lift in airplanes. The rotating discs are powered by a typical aircraft engine. Computer controls the movement of these blades very precisely to induce the required air flow for the flight.
The turbines of the aircraft can provide thrust in any direction along all 360 degree. There are four such turbines, each running at 2200 rpm. The change of direction of thrust allows the aircraft to hover, move vertically up, down etc. Turbulence affects this aircraft very little due to precise control over airflow.
The company has so far built only one prototype and has been flown around the laboratory only.
