Ubisoft had been posting teasers about their next Assassin’s Creed game namely “Assassin’s Creed: Revelations“. First of all to remove the protagonist confusion, the game will feature both Altair and Ezio. The final picture from the teasers:
Details say that Ezio will be over 50 years in this game and this will be the last game featuring Ezio.
The story goes like this: Ezio will have to find 5 certain seals. Each seal will allow him to relive the memories of his ancestor, Altair just like Desmond. At the start, Desmond will be in a coma but still hooked to the Animus and will need to go through Animus’s “Black Room“. What exactly is the Black Room? It’s some futuristic world of animus made up of his own mind and he needs to find the certain memories where Ezio’s and Altair’s memories collide. Seems interesting, no?
Another major addition is the “Hook Blade“. If you’ve ever played an AC game, you know sometimes you get tired of roaming the large city to get to a certain location. Now, you’ll be able to zipline across the city of Constantinople which according to Ubisoft, will accelerate the speed of navigation by 30%. It can still be used to kill people in case you were wondering.
The game employs a simple crafting system that will enable Ezio to craft over 300 different types of bombs. The level cap of your Assassins have been increased from 10 to 15. The game will have multiplayer again but this time, it will have a story. Moreover, Eagle Vision has been named to Eagle Sense. It will allow Ezio to eavesdrop on people’s conversation and it can also predict guards’ movements which will definitely help in setting traps etc.
Like ACII and AC:B, AC:R will also have ruins like the lairs of Romulus and Assassins’ Tombs, probably for the most powerful armor in the game. So, who’s looking forward to this game? I can tell, it will be awesome!
