2011 Nissan Esflow Concept

Nissan has revealed the Esflow plug-in electric vehicle at Chicago Motor Show. Nissan has tried to merge the not-so-well looking zero emission design with sporty looks and we gotta admit they have done it really well.
The car has two rear wheel hub motors which receive energy from laminated Lithium-Ion batteries, the most popular form of energy storage for hybrid & electric vehicles. The batteries are placed along rear and front wheels to help achieve a stable weight distribution. The motors can push the car from 0-62mph in 5seconds which is quite fast for electric cars (remember electric cars have this long known issue of not providing such a great acceleration because batteries cannot discharge the energy so quickly, the discharge is linear in most of batteries).
The batteries deliver 150 miles (240 kilometers) before they need to be recharged
Outlook
The car is primarily colored blue, a bit like glaciers. The lines and curves give the car an elegant and sporty look. The headlights are also painted in blue. The 6 spoke wheels, the side sill, roof mounted lip spoiler, and lower rear bumper contain blue carbon materials.
Powertrain
As we wrote earlier, two electric motors are installed in rear wheels. The rating and other details of motors are not known yet. However, definitely their efficiency is going to be 90%+
