Eggs are laid inside this leaf and hatch
The female frog lays about 10 legs inside the leaf and in a week, tadpoles emerge and drop into small pools where they undergo all of their development.
The species have been named Blommersia Angolafa and are under threat because of deforestation as it reduces the palm trees, the leaves of which are the lifeline of the reproduction of these frogs.
